Lifestyle Medicine of Grand Junction
Lifestyle Medicine of Grand Junction
Lifestyle Medicine is a new field in healthcare.
A lifestyle medicine doctor will teach their patients how to use science-based changes in diet, exercise, and preventive health care to prevent or stop chronic disease.
These lifestyle changes are designed to help you:
1. Understand the mechanisms of your problem and how you became sick.
2. Learn how to maintain your health with simple dietary changes and exercise.
3. Help others recover by setting an example for them to follow.
Sadly, American medical and dental schools fail to teach this new science, so millions die annually from cancer, heart disease, and numerous other preventable diseases.
My practice began in 1978 and since then I have been constantly researching the medical literature and attending post-graduate seminars trying to understand why most people are getting sicker and dying much earlier than their parents did.
The results of this research have led me to practice Lifestyle Medicine.
Below is a list of services I offer my patients:
1.In-home consultations and training on healthy diet and lifestyle changes.
2.Chiropractic treatment for chronic neck, back, or joint pain.
3.Ear acupuncture for grief, or alcohol, drug, and food addiction.
4.Acupuncture for chronic pain, digestive problems, depression, hot flashes, or to simply relax.
5.Sports massage therapy to improve range of motion and flexibility of the spine and joints.
6.Cranial therapy to correct chronic headaches and TMJ problems.
6.Nutritional therapy to lose weight, increase energy, manage emotional stress, and improve immune function.
7.Fitness training to increase aerobic fitness, muscle strength, and joint flexibility.
Feel free to contact me when you are ready to learn simple lifestyle changes that can help you and your family to get well and stay well.
